When I first began exploring franchise ownership, I knew very little about the industry and was trying to make a significant decision about the next chapter of my professional life.

From the beginning, David took the time to understand my background, goals, concerns, and what I was ultimately hoping to accomplish. His knowledge of the franchise industry, professionalism, patience, and ability to provide clarity throughout the process were exceptional.

What impressed me most was his genuine, unbiased approach. I never felt pressured or that David was simply trying to sell me a franchise. Instead, he provided thoughtful guidance, honest perspectives, and the information I needed to evaluate opportunities and make an informed decision.

My background

I have spent 10 years as a franchise consultant, working with more than 1,000 franchise candidates across the United States and Canada. Before that, my career was in finance, executive leadership and business ownership:

CPA: I began my career as a CPA at a Big 6 accounting firm.
Finance and acquisitions: as Director of Finance & Acquisitions at a Fortune 500 telecommunications company, I led nearly $2.0 billion in transactions.
CFO and CEO: I served as CFO and then CEO of a regional real estate development company, overseeing commercial real estate and other businesses.
Franchise owner: I started, operated and sold my own franchise business, so I have been through every stage of franchise ownership.
Author and contributor: I wrote Franchise Vision: Transform Your Future Through Franchise Ownership, an Amazon category bestseller, and I contribute to Entrepreneur.com.
Education: B.S. in Accountancy, Trulaske College of Business, University of Missouri.

I have guided candidates through strong and weak economies and tight and loose labor markets. My services are free to candidates, and I am not a sales agent for any brand.
